Interior Designers
The interior designer aids you in selecting everything from colors to carpet and furniture to plumbing fixtures. Because of this there is a great need upfront for the interior designer in the planning stages. A room is not complete without furniture and draperies. The positioning of the lighting as well as moulding selections, tiles, paints, blocking for draperies and countless other decisions all are crucial items that can be incorporated into the plans saving you money and construction time. A good interior designer that has a depth of resources to bring to the table is essential at the planning stage.
Richmond Construction has worked with several award winning interior designers over the years. We will recommend competent and creative designers who have established reputations for breathtaking interiors.
The goal of our design process is to make your selections as easy as possible. We want you to be exposed to what is available and to aid you in putting those selections together in a timely and orderly fashion. An ongoing sample board with the finish selections will be updated in order to give the client a comprehensive visual understanding of how the selections are all working together. Much of the decision making can and will be done during the planning stage of your home. This will make the decision process much more relaxed without looming deadlines giving you ample time to revisit any of your choices prior to ordering. Many selections have an impact on the structural design of the home and all have an impact on the cost. Having plenty of resources and time to make your selections will contribute to a custom designed finish you can enjoy for years to come.
Exterior Designers
Depending on the project, we may make a recommendation to include a landscape designer in the planning process. Subdivision reviews, site difficulties or amenities, complexity of a project or just personal preference can all be factors in determining if a landscape designer is required during the initial planning. Having the electrical and plumbing requirements for the exterior allow us to efficiently provide for those in the plans and budget. Irrigation stub outs, pool piping, sidewalks, entry and drive designs / finishes as well as landscape lighting are all good reasons to consult with a landscape designer during the planning stages.
